The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB) will hold its Spring Safety Forum on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, with representatives of the offshore workforce, operating oil companies, key service companies, governments, offshore safety committees, and the C-NLOPB. Due to limited seating, attendance is by invitation only.

The purpose of the Forum is:

• To provide an opportunity to exchange information among Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Stakeholders so that safety issues can be proactively identified and addressed in a forum of interested stakeholders
• To highlight areas of particular concern and reduce risk of minor issues and major incidents to a level as low as reasonably practicable
• To share safety information and best practices across the whole industry
• To identify possible improvements to improve offshore safety

Presentations given at the forum will be posted to the C-NLOPB Safety Forum website after the event.
