Kim Dunphy

Kim Dunphy has served over 30 years in progressively responsible positions with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador in the area of occupational health and safety enforcement and regulation, 14 of which were as Assistant Deputy Minister, Occupational Health and Safety Branch, Service NL.

She was a key participant throughout the development of Part III.1 of the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Atlantic Accord Implementation Act as the occupational health and safety policy advisor for the Newfoundland and Labrador government.

Kim has extensive Board experience, serving as Director with the Canada Standards Association (CSA) Group, the Workplace Health and Safety and Compensation Commission NL, the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association, Safety Services NL and as Governor at the Canadian Center for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS).

Kim attended Memorial University and is a graduate of St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia, B.Sc. She also attended Ryerson Polytechnical studying Environmental Health subsequently obtaining a CPHI(C) designation.
