Lori Bevan, BA, LL. B is a graduate of Memorial University and Dalhousie’s Schulich School of Law. She has extensive oil and gas experience in multiple jurisdictions garnered over a nearly 20-year legal career. From 2003 to 2013, Lori worked with Norton Rose Fulbright and advised clients on their oil and gas activities, contractual rights and obligations, acquisitions and disposals.
She has advised on petroleum regime design in Mexico and Iraq and undertook a comparative review of regimes in Africa. Lori was senior legal counsel for Total SA from 2013 to 2015 where she was responsible for legal matters in Iraq, Oman and Yemen. In 2015, she was transferred to Total E&P PNG Limited in Papua New Guinea where she was responsible for legal matters in the country until retiring in August 2018.
Ms. Bevan brings strong analytical and advisory skills to the table together with a willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new regulatory environments.
