Scheduled Flight Turnaround

August 30, 2011

Statoil notified the C-NLOPB of a scheduled flight that turned around on route to the MODU Henry Goodrich on August 29, 2011. The flight was approximately 26 miles offshore when the pilot responded to a perceived higher than normal vibration and made a decision to return as a precautionary measure. The flight arrived at 11:10 a.m. and the passengers were briefed. The C-NLOPB is following up on the incident with the Operator.
