Scheduled Flight Turnaround Incident

July 17, 2011

Suncor has notified the C-NLOPB of a scheduled flight turn around on July 17, 2011. The flight was outbound to the Terra Nova FPSO when an autopilot indicator light came on about 15 minutes into the flight. The crew followed standard operating practice and returned to base. They did not declare an emergency. The flight arrived at the base at approximately 10:25 a.m. and the passengers were briefed.
