Husky Energy has reported that at 1530, November 24 the Maersk Detector supply vessel and GSF Grand Banks drill rig came into contact.
Damage is reported to be above the waterline on both vessels. Stability is not impaired. Crews and the certifying authority are assessing the damage. There are no reports of injuries or pollution.
Husky Incident Command Centre (ICC) was mobilized but has since stood-down as the situation is considered to be stable.
The C-NLOPB is in contact with senior officials at Husky Energy and is monitoring the situation.
