Grand Banks Operators Managing Satellite Communications Problem

Grand Banks operators are presently managing a satellite communications
issue regarding problems with the Anik F-2 satellite. The issue is
affecting regular communication channels to offshore installations,
however operators have a number of alternate communication tools which
are available in case of emergency. The satellite provider is working
to restore service, and estimates that normal communications channels
will be back in operation late tonight.
