Small Fire in Generator Turbine
April 8, 2013
On April 6, HMDC reported a small fire in the “B” Main Power Generator turbine enclosure. A small piece of custom fitted insulation blanket had ignited. The area operator shut down the generator and extinguished the fire using a portable fire extinguisher. There were no injuries to report.
