Suncor reported a small fire on the Atlantic Raven that occurred on June 20 while the vessel was transporting 13 workers from the Terra Nova FPSO to St. John’s. The fire resulted from smoldering wires in a cabinet. The fire was extinguished quickly by a crew member. The vessel is fully functional and continued en route to St. John’s. Suncor is investigating the incident. The vessel was approximately 100 km from St. John’s when the incident occurred.
