ExxonMobil has reported two incidents that occurred on the Hebron Platform. On June 20th, a worker cut into a live electrical cable. There were no injuries as a result. On June 23rd, a metal object weighing approximately 10lbs fell in the centre shaft impacting three workers. The workers received minor injuries and were assessed by the Platform nurse. ExxonMobil suspended all work on the platform following the second incident. Operations will not be permitted to resume until the CNLOPB’s Chief Safety Officer is satisfied that it is safe to do so.
