Update – Spill at White Rose Field and Status of Other Offshore Facilities

Spill at White Rose Field

No oil sheens have been detected since Sunday, November 18.

ROV surveys to inspect subsea assets, which Husky commenced on November 19, are continuing.

Six vessels continue to be in the field participating in wildlife observations. To date, 18 oiled seabirds have been sighted.

Husky is in the process of initiating a water sampling program in the area of the spill, in consultation with the C-NLOPB and relevant government agencies.

The C-NLOPB continues its investigation into the incident.

Other Offshore Facilities

The Hebron and Hibernia facilities have resumed production.

Operations at the Terra Nova FPSO continue to be shut down.
