Suncor has informed the C-NLOPB that a grease fire from a char broiler occurred in the galley of the Terra Nova FPSO on October 10 at approximately 2020 hours.
A General Platform Alarm was initiated and personnel mustered. The fire was extinguished by the fire team using a portable fire extinguisher. No injuries were reported. The area was cleared and personnel stood down from muster.
Production from the FPSO was shut down by the Operator last week weekend following other, previously reported incidents.
