The Hibernia Management and Development Company (HMDC) has reported a high potential near miss that occurred on the Hibernia Platform on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Four individuals were working on the GBS roof slab when two sequential waves came over the edge of the slab. Two of the workers lost their footing and fell with one sustaining minor abrasions to the left hand. No treatment was required. Workers were wearing immersion suits. HMDC is investigating. The C-NLOPB is following up with HMDC.
