Husky Energy has informed the C-NLOPB that a Cougar flight experienced a Stability Augmentation System fault while on the Henry Goodrich. All checks were completed, but the fault did not clear. A second flight was dispatched with a maintenance engineer to troubleshoot the problem, but had to return to St. John’s due to fog. The helicopter will remain secured on the Henry Goodrich for the night and Cougar will attempt to get the engineer out to the drilling rig tomorrow morning. The extra persons on board of the Henry Goodrich are being transferred to the Maersk Chancellor for a vessel transfer to St. John’s this evening.
