Following an internal strategic review, the Canada‐Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C‐NLOPB) is announcing the following amendment to its Scheduled Land Tenure System:
Timing Change for Low Activity Regions
Previously operating on a four-year cycle, a new two-year or three-year cycle will be implemented for all low activity regions with the length of a new cycle (two or three-year) determined following the close of the Call for Nominations (Area of Interest). Nominators will be provided the opportunity to submit their preferred timeframe as part of the nomination package.
Detailed information on both the two-year and three-year cycles are outlined in section 10 of the Scheduled Land Tenure Scoping Document.
