In response to media inquiries, the Board acknowledges that it has received a letter from Mayor Wells advising of the intention of the City of St. John’s to commence legal action on July 17 regarding Condition 1 to the Board’s approval of the Terra Nova Development Application.

In view of the potential for this matter to come before the courts, the Board will not be making any further comment on this issue at this time.
