The Canada-Newfoundland Offshore Petroleum Board announced today that the Report of the White Rose Public Review Commissioner has been completed. It includes the Commissioner’s review of the White Rose Development Application and presentations made by groups and individuals during the public hearings process in July, along with the Commissioner’s recommendations.
C-NOPB Chairman Hal Stanley commended Commissioner Clarke and his team for the organization and implementation of the public review process, and for completing the challenging task of reviewing written and oral presentations from the public in a timely and effective manner. The Report will be an important element in the Board’s ongoing review of the White Rose Development Application.
The White Rose Public Review Report has been submitted to the C-NOPB and to federal and provincial Energy Ministers, and has also been forwarded by the Board to the proponents of the project. Copies will be available for public release at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 26 at the Board’s offices. The report will also be available on the Commission’s website, www.wrpublicreview.ca.
