The Board and staff of the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (C-NLOPB), extend congratulations to the Newfoundland Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) on its 30 year anniversary.

NOIA held its 30 year anniversary gala at the St. John’s Convention Centre on Saturday, April 14, 2007 and presented Community Champion Awards to four companies for their community support. Congratulations are also extended to the winners of NOIA’s Community Champions Awards, which are BREN/KIR Industrial Supplies in the small category, Spectrol Energy Solutions in the medium category, North Atlantic Refining in the large category and Exxonmobil in the Petroleum category.

NOIA has been a valuable organization to the C-NLOPB in terms of providing input into regulatory matters, development plan applications and other matters which fall within the Board’s jurisdiction. We look forward to working with NOIA and fostering a positive, working relationship in the years ahead.
