C-NLOPB Advises Operators of Changes to Search and Rescue Practices

For Immediate Release

The C-NLOPB announced today that it has received some early recommendations from Commissioner Robert Wells of the Offshore Helicopter Safety Inquiry, which concern search and rescue practices. Following a review of the recommendations, the Board advised operators of changes which are to be implemented.

The recommendations and the Board’s directions to operators are contained in the attached correspondence.
